We look forward to welcoming you to our 2nd  ‘Beerfest on the Green’ on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th May 2019.


Conceived and organised by a jolly bunch of local volunteers known fondly as the ‘S.O.D.S’ (Silly Old Dad’s Society), the event is taking place to raise much needed funds for the community centre.


Sponsored by a local company, ecosupport ltd,it promises to be a fun weekend with live music, hog roast on Saturday other food available all weekend, quiz and, of course, 25 plus beers and ciders for you to sample! There’s also a ‘quiet room’ for the serious beer fans!

Friday 22nd May


17:30-22:30 tickets £7, over 18 only*. Tickets include glass, tasting notes and one free drink token.

Saturday 23rd May


13:30-22:30 Tickets £10 Over 18* only from 18:00. Tickets include glass, tasting notes and two free drink tokens.


Live music in the afternoon with from Pete and Andy Harris, and in the evening The Vagabonds will be performing.

Hog roast available Satrurday.


Half pints tokens will be sold at £1.50 and the main bar will also be available for all soft, lager, wine, fizz & gin/spirit drinks.


*Children and dogs are welcome in the centre at all times but only Saturday afternoon in the Beer Festival itself.
